In honor of Central Park’s birthday, I tweeted on my personal account a few of my favorite photos that I’ve taken of Central Park. As I wrote in a previous post about my new love for bird photography, in late 2017 I worked just a few blocks away from Central Park. During that time, I took daily walks to the pond. I love photography and my time spent taking pictures of the pond in the fall was the best part of my day.
I decided to post more photos of Central Park here; it’s so nice to look back at my strolls through the park. Since I have a camera lens now, I go to the park much more frequently. I also now explore other areas of the park that I never ventured into before, like the ramble and the loch. The pond remains the dearest to my heart, though. And my favorite time of year is still the fall, but I must say that the park looks awfully pretty just about any time of year!
Photos were taken either with my cell phone or with my Canon 6D. Enjoy!

Calmness Found at Central Park
This was an experiment in daytime long exposure a number of years back. Would like to do more of that sometime!

The gorgeous gapstow bridge with egret nearby
I love it when the egret stops by the pond and hang out by the Gapstow Bridge. Incredibly picturesque!
Happy Birthday Central Park, and thanks for all the memories!
